If you can't record... don't?
It's not sure a huge deal, I'm sure plenty of people will see your game with needing to watch the live stream.
As for my personal opinion on the matter, I'm against watermarking, but hey people will see the booth without a trailer, no big deal

I resolved this issue with KiddoCabbusses via PM. I asked him if I could use a screen recorder that records clips with an fps thing at the corner to make the clips for my trailer and he said that I can. I'll be posting my new trailer sometime this week.

The main advantage of a trailer is that, ideally, a well-done one will be able to summarize all the selling points of a fangame in a way that is much more appealing than simple text and screenshots can.
One other thing to note is that the most popular games during SAGExpo (Sonic: Before the Sequel, Sonic Fusion, and Sonic Axiom) had -heavy- representation on the SAGExpo Livestream.
That being said, what you said is correct - a trailer isn't necessary.
Also, since I think someone asked - don't worry about any due date, as long as the trailer is available before NCFC is over. We've had a few SAGE games that didn't have trailers until a bit in.

RE: Game trailers wanted!
Well my trailer is finished. Now I just have to upload it onto youtube. Also I figured out how to remove the fps thing in corner so you won't being seeing any watermarks or fps thingys in my trailer at all. I think you people will really enjoy this trailer. I'll be releasing the trailer tomorrow.

Also, since I can't seem to make my own thread on this, I'll ask this here;
Anyone who wants to hop on the Livestream, please tell me so I can give producer-level access to you.

I would like but I'll have make an account on the Livestream first. Also, can you put my trailer on the Livestream or do I have to give you the source video?

I've uploaded the Youtube version of the trailer currently. It's entirely your choice if you think the source video is preferable.

I think the youtube version should fine.

Camstudio is acting really weird. I don't know how the heck I'm supposed to configure it as, and it's recording like 2 frames of footage. Also, as I predicted, the quality is very low. At this rate, I have no choice but to drop out.
Is there a way for me to just make a booth without a trailer and with just pics, music, info, and a download link? This is is tedious for me.

@Wiiboy- I don't have a video for any of my submissions and they got accepted. A video is only to catch peoples attention, and I'm almost certain that it isn't required. Don't drop out just because you don't have a video!

I'll just use a forum booth instead of the website - if that's alright - purely for the sake of time.

Yeah, I ran out of time to make a website to, so I just used one of the booths that the site lets you make (It may not look as nice as having your own website for a game, but it works!).

RE: Game trailers wanted!
Status updaite: with cdivision's videos I now have 14 trailer/teasers up for 12 unique games. It also takes about 40 minutes or so for the off-stream to go from start to loop point with these trailers.
I would like to ask for some Non-Mario/Zelda trailers to balance out the large amount of Mario and Zelda trailer submissions. Pokemon? Metroid? Star Fox?

This is obviously pending on the approval of my last-second submission, but here's some Fire Emblem: Elibian Nights for you guys.
This trailer features some characters, levels, and... well... features that are to be implemented in the upcoming Version 4.0 patch, the release of which is tbd by Archibald's schedule. That said, the 3.7 patch still has a LOT to offer, so be sure to check it out.

RE: Game trailers wanted!
Here is a trailer for Super Mario Fusion Revival, made by YouTube user Hadriex. It's a bit out of date, though (from an older version v0.2).
